Video: Family Life Through Lockdown

Lockdown life with the kids turned our living rooms into classrooms, giving the word 'homework' a whole new meaning. Families saw a new side to one another, time slowed down and we can now breathe a collective sigh of relief that it's all over.

But dare I say, there were glimpses of fun, excitement and determination for us to seize the moment! In spite of the tragedy unfolding, we sought out our elderly parents, shared interests with our young children and found new ways to play and enjoy one another’s company.

What Makes Good asked individuals to recount their unique experiences of the pandemic. Each of them provided us with video clips to help document their story. We meet Lucy’s mum, Jack’s short films with his children and David and Ashley’s daughters skipping tutorial. All three were unprompted and unsurprisingly family themed and provided a hopeful and positive silver lining to a difficult moment in their lives.
